The RedLine Racing Series follows the progress of Vancouver racing driver Eddie Stewart and his team from the Pacific Northwest as they work their way up the ranks of professional road racing. Eddie is a young man in a hurry, with the talent, desire and commitment to become a top driver. What he doesn't have is the money to simply buy his way in. To make it at the pro level, he will need skill, nerve, and the support of his closest friends.

Written for readers of 9-15 years, the RedLine books feature strong, principled characters with intense, authentic racing action balanced by a good deal of humour. Three of the novels are approved for schools by the Nova Scotia Ministry of Education as middle school/Jr. High Language Arts resources, and Book 3, "On the Limit" is a Canadian Children's Book Centre Our Choice Selection for 2007. All are highly recommended by school librarians and teachers.

Book 1: "Fast Track"

"There was no warning, just a loud metallic bang. The engine stopped dead and everything instantly went white, as if I was in a plane that had suddenly flown straight into a cloud. The cockpit of the car filled with thick, white smoke, stinging my eyes and nose. I couldn't even see the steering wheel, much less the road ahead. Blind and powerless, I was moving at well over 100 miles per hour as I felt the rear end of the Mustang start to spin around."

"Fast Track" is the first book in the RedLine series, and introduces Eddie Stewart and his team as they cross the country facing fierce competition in the TransAm and Formula Atlantic Series. They quickly discover that in the world of pro racing there are many ways to the victory podium. For some of their rivals, winning is everything and they play by their own set of rules.

"I was enthralled from chapter 1 right through to chapter 19. "

Book 2: "Full Throttle"

"Raul DaSilva took the bait for my low inside move and, as I expected, slid his car left to block me going into turn one. At that moment I immediately went for the high outside groove looking for the narrow gap between his car on my left and the concrete wall rushing past on my right. It almost worked. I forgot that while Raul was fast, he was no sportsman. The instant he realized that I wasn't really coming in low, he moved up into the high groove to close the gap. He knew I was there. He also knew that I would have to choose between locking wheels with him or being crushed against the wall."

"Full Throttle" puts Eddie Stewart and his crew up against million-dollar racing teams. With a rebuilt car and a volunteer crew, Eddie takes the green flag in the North American Formula Atlantic Series with one chance to prove that he can compete at the professional level. Sixty laps on the oval at Milwaukee will decide if he belongs, and if he can keep his team together.

Book 3: "On The Limit" (Canadian Children's Book Centre Our Choice Selection, 2007)

"There was no time to think about what to do, only to react. I braked hard, eased the Swift right, flicked left to avoid a piece of wing, right again to miss the spinning black car, and then found myself through the corner and accelerating hard up to turn four..."

In "On the Limit", Eddie and the team are quickly becoming a force in the North American Formula Atlantic series. With a big corporate sponsor on board and a new aero package, they're full of confidence as they head into the Toronto street race. Eddie's bullet fast, his team is strong, and his championship rival, Raul DaSilva knows it. What happens on race day forces Eddie to test the limits of his talent and abilities.

"Lifelike and utterly believable"

Book 4: "Title Run"

"Three closed wheel cars might have had enough room to make it through turn 3 side-by-side with some fender rubbing, but not three open wheeled formula cars. At close quarters in an open wheel car, the worst case accident happens if you get your wheels interlocked with another car. That critical mistake guarantees that someone is going to get airborne. And Tanaka made it at 150 MPH."

"Title Run" has Eddie Stewart and his team near the top of points standings after strong podium finishes and a stunning win in the rain at Toronto. A victory in the final race of the season in Miami can give Eddie the title. But it won't be that simple. Eddie is offered a new contract and a ton of cash for next season on one condition. He needs to throw this race, allowing his arch rival Raul DaSilva through to win the championship. Eddie finds that every man has his price. And what it will cost him if he agrees to his.
